Day 01
Kochi to Alleppey
You will be met at your Kochi hotel this morning by your driver and transferred to Alleppey. The drive to Alleppey will take approx. 1.5 hours (53 km). Upon arrival at the dock, you will board your houseboat and cruise the backwaters of Kerala. Popularly known as 'kettuvallam', the houseboats are converted from traditional rice barges. You will cruise through the 900km network of waterways that fringe the coast from Alleppey to Nedumudy. Enjoy authentic Keralan food whilst drifting through the quiet canals, relax and witness the life of the people living around the backwater area of Kerala.

Backwater Cruising
Enjoy cruising through the backwaters today, watching villagers go about their day by the water's edge and relax in a green paradise.
